This week's Shakedown Stream was pretty damn good. That may be because the featured show was from Rotterdam (click image for setlist)- a city in The Netherlands where dams are necessary and everywhere. Some Streamers said that this show had the longest Dark Star, but I am not so sure that is the case.
Even though Shakedown Stream continues to grow throughout the US and internationally, we here on Martha's Vineyard - the island home of mvyradio.com - are always pleased when a member of the Grateful Dead comes to Boston. Bob Weir performed at a fundraiser for the Perkins School for the Blind (Boston Globe article) and then later on that day sang the national anthem for the Boston Celtics (youtube).
Keep on Streaming...

Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.
