It's
a doubleheader on Shakedown Stream! This week's featured show displays the earliest versions
of "Throwing Stones" and "Touch of Grey." These were new tunes for us deadheads at the time and we did not even
know what they were called; "We Will Survive" or "Ashes to Ashes" - who
knew, we are all so crazed with passion and trying to get tickets.
Join us as we feature two nights in Palo Alto, CA in 1982.

We Will Survive
Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.
