Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.

Panic the Dead
"Every jam band worth its hemp has covered the Dead at some point. Phish, moe., Umphrey's McGee and others all admit to plucking away Grateful Dead songs in their early days. Even mainstream acts like Sublime and Counting Crowes have laid down studio versions of their favorite tie-dyed tunes.
But this undated jam has to be one of the most earnest Grateful Dead covers I've ever heard. Widespread Panic does it right." Click for Video and Article
