Our 50th anniversary celebration of the Grateful Dead continues on Shakedown Stream. Last week, we repeated a show from Detroit 1977 (Listen Here) to help us get ready for the famed '77 year of Dead. March Madness has subsided, but before we move further into Spring, we'll hear a March Winterland show that features some of the earliest versions of Terrapin Station and Estimated Prophet. We will also bless ourselves with a copious amount of Jerry Garcia Band stuff from this time period.
Shakedown Stream on
mvyradio.com every Tuesday at 5PM (EST).
Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.
