Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.

Big Bang Cosmic Debris
The debris from the cosmic big bang of the Grateful Dead continues to bounce around the stratosphere. As luck would have it, someone pressed the red "record" button and the Dead's jams have been captured. This week on Shakedown Stream we celebrate another show that possesses a Dark Star > St Stephen > The Eleven > Death Have No Mercy.
Many of us grew up listening to this song arrangement on the "Live Dead" album - over and over again. Gone are the days where you have to worry about turning the album over to listen to the other side and the rest of the jam - the Stream keeps the songs flowing.
