Shakedown Stream is a weekly Grateful Dead radio/podcast show hosted by Jer Bear. It is 4 to 5 hours in length. The first hour is a mix of old, rare, new, favorite and interesting songs of the Grateful Dead. Then Jer Bear plays a show - in its' entirety - selected from their 30 years run from 1965-1995. Afterwards, some more chestnuts may be played to help listeners ease on out of the Stream.

Shakedown Stream: 500 members on Facebook.
Shakedown Stream has reached another milestone over the weekend. There are 500 members of the Shakedown Stream Group page on Facebook. This page has served as a venue for fellow streamers to follow the show and find out what the featured is from week to week on Shakedown Stream. There are also discussion boards for streamers to write to Jer Bear about their 1st Dead show or their requests or even their strangest experiences regarding the Shakedown Stream. One listener tells us that he listens to Shakedown Stream while operating on dogs - he is a Veternarian.
